TRAINING TEAM
Michelle Quiñones
HEAD TRAINER
Growing up in Montana surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes, Michelle found her calling early. From horses to cats to pigeons – and of course, dogs – she developed a deep understanding of animal behavior and a strong foundation in training.
After a brief detour down another career path, Michelle was led back to the animal world when she rescued a Belgian Malinois with significant behavioral challenges. Helping him heal reignited her lifelong passion and set her firmly on the path of professional dog training.
Michelle went on to spend several years at a premier board & train facility, where she specialized in rehabilitating aggressive dogs and training service animals. Over the course of her career, she has worked with more than 500 dogs – from Papillon puppies to Cane Corsos with bite records, and everything in between.
Now part of the Kenl Inn team, Michelle brings her experience, insight, and compassionate approach to every dog and handler she works with. She’s a strong advocate for balanced training methods, and her focus is on empowering owners to confidently lead their dogs through the challenges of the human world – building confident handlers, and even better companions.
Baily
TRAINER
Baily grew up in a small town west of Lincoln with lots of animals. She has always had a strong connection to animals and a want to help them in any way she could. She dreamed of going into veterinary medicine but, after moving to Wisconsin, she started working at a kennel/daycare facility and decided to go to school for dog behavior instead.
While in school and working with her own new puppy, Baily found a love for training and started working with the other trainers. Soon after, Baily moved to Illinois and found a training job that really boosted her career and love for training. She has worked with dogs for about 5 years now, 4 as a trainer. She learned a lot about balanced training and advocates for proper use of tools and training each dog differently according to their specific needs and personalities.
Now back in Nebraska and part of the Kenl Inn training team, Baily is excited to bring her experience and love of training to help owners and dogs succeed.
Kiara
TRAINER
Growing up on a ranch in a small town in Colorado, Kiara was surrounded by animals of all kinds and found her passion early. From training her own dogs and horses, she developed a strong foundation in understanding animal behavior and knew she wanted to pursue training as a career.
Kiara began working with horses across the United States before transitioning fully into dog training. She went on to build a diverse background in veterinary medicine, grooming, animal control, and shelter behavior. As a Head Shelter Trainer, she helped rehabilitate and rehome over 150 animals in less than a year—tripling the shelter’s previous adoption record—while working with dogs of all types, from ranch and hunting dogs to everyday companions.
Kiara has a strong passion for agility and behavioral work, with a special interest in helping reactive and misunderstood dogs build confidence. Now part of the Kenl Inn team, she brings a balanced, practical approach focused on clear communication and real-world results—helping create confident dogs, capable owners, and better companions.
Our Training Philosophy
Clear Communication. Fair Expectations. Proven Results.
We believe that every dog is different—and effective training should reflect that. Our balanced training approach blends positive reinforcement and fair corrections to help dogs understand what’s expected of them. This style of training allows us to clearly communicate with your dog—rewarding good choices and calmly guiding them away from unwanted behaviors.
Our methods are tailored to each individual dog, focusing on real-world results, consistency, and building a strong line of communication. It’s not about quick fixes—it’s about lasting change and a relationship with your dog you can truly enjoy, anywhere you go.
No matter what, our goal is always the same: a confident dog, a confident owner, and a stronger bond between you.
